The Dyatlov pass

The cost of my services according to the basic plan:

The route, along the Northern Urals, to the most mysterious pass of Russia. In the winter of 1959, a group of tourists from 9 people under the leadership of Igor Dyatlov died in full force not far from this place. The exact cause of the group's death has not been clarified to this day. There are several dozen versions of the tragedy. Among them are natural versions, and criminal, and man-made. And even mystical and fantastic. We will have to see with our own eyes the places where terrible tragic events unfolded. We carry all the equipment and food on ourselves. In addition to your belongings, you will have to take about 5-6 kg of team property. The route is suitable for beginners, but you need a cheerful mood and good physical shape. You need to be prepared for a huge number of midges and mosquitoes, as well as the vagaries of the weather.

General route plan:

1 day.

We arrive by train at the Ivdel station. Dyatlov's group also arrived at this very station, built in 1940, on the night of January 24-25, 1959. Just like the dead group, we get into an all-terrain vehicle and move along the Ural taiga to the Auspiya River. The trip is about 6-7 hours, with short stops. Having reached the Auspiya, we unload, prepare lunch. We distribute team-wide property. After lunch, we put on backpacks and start the walking part of the journey. We go about 10 km. along the trail along the Auspiya. About the same way tourists walked in 1959. Upon arrival at the parking lot, we set up camp, cook dinner and rest.

2 day.

We get up early. We prepare breakfast, come to our senses and share our impressions of the first night in the Ural taiga, simultaneously folding the camp... We have breakfast and move on. About 10 km more. we walk along the taiga trail with a break for lunch and go to the foot of the pass, to the place where the Dyatlovites spent the last night before the tragedy and organized a labaz. Ideally, we also set up a camp here. But there may be options. Let's figure it out on the ground...

3 day.

We leave the camp and make a radial exit, without backpacks, to the place where the tent of the Dyatlov group stood. We go down to the cedar tree, where tourists tried to light a life-saving fire. After lunch we return to the camp.

4 day.

After breakfast, we turn off the camp and move back along the already familiar path. We get up for the night in the same place where we spent the first night.

5 day.

We go to the starting point of the walking part of the route. We set up camp on the bank of the Auspiya River. This will be our last night in the taiga.

6 day.

After breakfast, we load into the transport and return to the Ivdel train station. In the city there will be an opportunity to visit a cafe and go to the store to buy food for the train.
